How do you engage in Mediation at The PACT?
- Step 1 (Convening, Approx. 2-3 Weeks Max) – This involves orientation calls with all stakeholders / people concerned in a dispute; signing of an Agreement to Mediate (a.k.a Mediation Agreement); appointment of Mediator, Payment of Fees, Confirmation of Timelines and Schedules, Preparation Calls, etc.
- Step 2 (Collaborating, Approx. 8-10 Weeks Max) – This involves joint conference sessions and private sessions with both sides, nudging and steering parties to find a collaborative resolution.
- Step 3 (Confirming, 1-2 Weeks Max) – This involves brief sessions with the parties, their lawyers and team, to voluntarily draft, vet and sign off on a binding and confidential Settlement Agreement
